This Malle panel is exactly what I was looking for. The two clips that buckle around the seat hold the panel very securely. Fully customizable and light weight. Great product and I will be getting another one for the other seat soon. You have to put it together is the worst part. Quailing is goodThe outer UPS box was in great condition the package box was obviously damaged. As I opened the box the panel was in I could hear the sounds of plastic pieces moving around. Upon first inspection there were marks on the protective foam from something sharp. It turned out to be the sharp plastic pieces from the buckles. All of the accessories to mount the panel buckles were broken. Very sad I didn’t get to use it at all. Returned for a refund and will look at a different one. The panel looked to be sturdy but didn’t inspect it throughly since the straps and buckles were damaged and very cheap. We bought these for our headrests in our Forester sprinter motor home. Our cat travels with us and jumps from the upper cab—where we feed her—to a recliner, using the backrest as a stop before she lands on the recliner. Now we don’t have to worry about her digging her claws into our ultra leather. They fit well and look good.Get this. You won’t be disappointed that much. The Velcro on the bottom strap does stick to the seat which makes this more of a permanent addition than a temporary one. This is a cool little add on. A bit difficult to make it really sturdy but with some patients and maybe a second pair of hands I see this working out pretty well. I like that this can go on any seat becasue I am always running out of room for little things I throw in the back. With this I can mount all my recovery gear that I always need in the truck.I had a great experience with other OneTigris products (they make absolutely perfect gun cleaning mats, check them out!), so I decided to give this sling a try. There are lots of Molle-style panels, they all have more or less the same design, most commonly they are made of steel or aluminum, but this one went with a different material - carbon fiber or fiberglass. I didn't know which version to get so I've ordered both to compare. Based on the stock photos, the fiberglass version appears to be stiffer, but it was really hard to judge and make a choice only by looking at the photos. The carbon fiber and fiberglass versions are very nice-looking panels with very large MOLLE slots. Both come with a bunch of accessories such as rolls of Velcro, elastic bungee cords that can be adjusted to suit your needs, attachment straps, and various simple accessories to hold guns, fire extinguishers, etc. No matter if it's a lightweight carbon fiber or heavy-gauge fiberglass, it will bend anyway. They both are not as stiff as aluminum or steel plates, but they're also a fraction of the weight. Both panels bend easily even in your hands. The flex is somewhat useful for attaching accessories, as it's easier to slide Molle straps through flex plate than work with really stiff steel plates. The weight difference between carbon fiber and fiberglass version is about 2 times, carbon fiber is only 225 grams and fiberglass is 510 grams, which is 285 grams heavier. But in the grand scheme of things 285 grams will not make any difference when the panel is fully loaded with gear. Subjectively, the fiberglass one is much more rigid and keeps its form very well, yes it still bends but not as much as the carbon fiber. I also prefer the all-black style of the fiberglass one, so if I were to choose a panel now, I would go with the fiberglass one for sure. Surely, the carbon fiber one looks very cool and everything, but I prefer functionality over looks. Plus, the fiberglass one is much cheaper, costs about 30% less vs carbon fiber one. But again, functionally they are practically the same, if you dig the "carbon fiber" look then go for it, otherwise the fiberglass one is perfect. Both panels are functional and work great for me. I'm not a huge fan of the manufacturer's recommendation of strapping the bottom edge across the car seat. This is because it impairs the function of the very seat one is sitting on. So instead, I attached the straps/hooks to the under seat, just like one of the other reviewers suggested, and it works great. It improves the position of the panel, its fitment on the seat, and really helps to keep it in place when you recline the seat. The whole setup looks and feels sturdy and holds up to 1 rifle, 1 pistol, 6 mags (3 rifles, 3 pistols), 1 med kit, 1 knife, and 2 utility pouches. It totally does what I need. It easily attaches to your car's seat, can be removed when not needed and moved to another car.*** TL;DR ***Yes, I totally recommend these Molle panels. Both panels are lightweight but still rigid enough to hold your gear, and they come with a lot of accessories. They're easy to attach to your car seat and to remove and relocate to another car. The fiberglass one looks beefy and mean and the carbon fiber one looks super cool. Both panels still flex under the load but carbon fiber flexes a bit more than fiberglass. I like the fiberglass one more. Solid 5 stars.+++ Pros +++1) Lightweight but still rigid enough to hold the load.2) Comes with a lot of accessories.3) Easy to attach to your car seat.4) Easy to remove and relocate to another car.5) Fiberglass one looks beefy and mean.6) Carbon fiber one looks super cool.--- Cons ---1) Both still flex under the load.2) Carbon fiber flexes more than fiberglass. This was a little tricky to install at first but once you get the hang of it it was easier to use.
