Took me a few days to muster the courage to install the cover. You get two needles, a thread and a non-intuitive instruction diagram. If you have any kind of sewing skills, this should be no problem for you. I found a decent YouTube instruction video. I used a flat head screw to pop out the "u" shaped metal clip underneath the shifter button. When I did that, I was able to pull out the shift knob. I was easily able to place the cover and sew on the thread around the knob. I then used tweezers to insert double sided tape, that I purchased separately, in between crevasse that formed around the shifter knob button. After making sure the cover smoothly rested on the shifter knob, I then installed the knob back in place. Was fairly easy and fun to see when finished. I recommend doing it on a cooler day. You will want to put the vehicle in drive to make it easier to remove the knob so be careful with that part. :)
